A while ago we wrote a really nifty free tool called PDFHelp to replace JavaHelp. This is updated monthly with new features but the website has been in need of a bit of TLC. So we have now moved the PDF help.org site over to a WordPress CMS and spruced it up. It’s appearance has been updated to look similar to our main and LGPL sites.
All the links will of been updated so you will find yourself seeing the new site immediately. This move has also heralded some updates to the site itself and don’t forget that PDFHelp is updated monthly at the same time as jPedal.
For those who are unfamiliar with PDFHelp:
PDFHelp is a free replacement for the JavaHelp library which is designed to offer superior help functionality to developers. Unlike JavaHelp PDFHelp is based upon the PDF format, offering an easy and interactive way of adding online help to any Java program.
Unlike JavaHelp, you do not need to fiddle with HTML and styling, all the formatting and styling can be done in your word processor and then the resulting PDF can be used.
It also offers many more features including full text search as it makes extensive use of our jPedal library.
What will you use PDFhelp for?
