It has nothing to do with Java or PDF but everything to do with the software industry and how we might use them. Every year the Longford Trust organises a talk – I went a couple of years ago to hear Clive Stafford-Smith (who is a bit of hero of mine).
This year it is Martha Lane Fox speaking and the talk is titled ‘Views from a dot com dinosaur: why the digital disruption hasn’t even started yet’. As founder of the lastMinute.com and one of the most famous faces of the dotcom boom, she should be well worth listening to.
So I will definitely be going along. The event takes place on Tuesday 16 November 2010 in London. Will you be there?
