4 improvements to PDF to JavaFX conversion in latest release

43 sec read

We have added some new and exciting features to the latest release of the PDF to JavaFX converter plugin in Netbeans. The main changes are:-

1. Better JavaFx code which makes the conversion process a lot fastest and the JavaFX output neater. I’ve spent a lot of time tidying up the code and working to make it more readable and the files smaller.

2. Page resizing so window changes size for each page if different. Each page now loads up with it’s own respective height and width as opposed to that of the previous page which was how it loaded up on the previous version.

3. Auto-centering of JavaFx window onscreen.

4. I have been testing it on the latest JavaFx and NetBeans releases with no problems.

I have also been able to include lots of improvements to the general code which is     used by JavaFx and HTML conversion. So the clipping of the pages on the JavaFX output are now closer to the actual PDF.

Feedback would be appreciated as to new features that you would like to see in the upcoming releases. You can run it from the NetBeans plugin which has been updated today as well. What do you think of the changes?
