The second NetBeans UK day took place at Greenwich University yesterday. Despite the rain, we had attendees not just from London but across the UK. We had some first class speakers from UK and Europe running some excellent practical sessions and workshops. Topics included Java, JavaScript, JavaEE, Angular, Reactive Programming, NetBeans as a platform.
There was also a raffle with lots of books and some excellent (and very generous) free licenses from Aspose and lots of free swag and teeshirts for all.
Finally, a big thank-you to
- University of Greenwich for giving us a venue and doing all the admin.
- all our speakers (several flew in from Europe) who pay their own expenses and give their time to do some awesome presentations
- and our generous sponsors, AirHacks, Aspose, IDRsolutions, Kodewerk, Memory, Payara, Wakatime
You all make it possible for these events to happen.
There are regular NetBeans Days (which are free to attend) all across the World and you can find out more details here and they are also announced on the NetBeans Facebook page.
IDRsolutions develop a Java PDF Viewer and SDK, an Adobe forms to HTML5 forms converter, a PDF to HTML5 converter and a Java ImageIO replacement. On the blog our team post anything interesting they learn about.
The rainy day on Tuesday turned happy due to the inspiring talks. Interesting topics emerged at both session and workpshop tracks worth to review.
Do the presentations have public access?
Hi Zsolt,
