JavaOne 2014 back in San Francisco

IDRsolutions will be in USA in September and October to attend two conferences.

We will be in Boston at the end of September for the Business of Software conference. This is a really interesting event focussed on Companies looking to grow sustainable successful where we get to hear some amazing speakers. Previous speakers have included Jason Cohen (SmartBear, WPEngine), Jason Fried (BaseCamp), Peldi Guilizzoni (Balsamiq), Gail Goodman (Constant Contact), Michael Pryor (Trello), to name just a few. We also get to meet lots of other people running large and small businesses and swap ideas and stories.

In October, we will be at the CodeOne conference in San Francisco (part of Oracle OpenWorld), where we will be doing 2 technical talks. There is a beginners session on using the NetBeans IDE called Writing Better Code (Faster) in the Apache NetBeans IDE, and a techie session on actually hacking NetBeans entitled Hacking the NetBeans IDE. We will also be attending lots of the other talks to get up to speed on the latest technical developments and ideas.

On both trips we will be arriving a few days early to meet up with our current and prospective customers in the general area. Greater Boston and San Francisco/Silicon Valley are big tech hubs with lots of software companies. Seeing what problems they have, and how we can solve them if a really good way for us to improve our products. Or we are very happy to just have an excuse to talk PDF, Java, HTML5, etc.

If you are in either of those locations, contact us and we will try to squeeze in a trip to see you.

If you’re a first-time reader, or simply want to be notified when we post new articles and updates, you can keep up to date by social media (Twitter, Facebook and Google+) or the Blog RSS.
