Why we will be switching to Hubspot for our sales process in 2019

1 min read

Recently we decided to switch to Hubspot to manage our sales operation. We wanted to make it simple for customers to get the sales information they need, and easy to purchase or renew their licences. We had looked at a few other CRMs but we liked the range of features and the value for money Hubspot offered. It also has a user friendly interface which makes it easy to learn to use.

Our key requirements were:

Easy communication with each other

Our most important requirement was easy communication both with our customers and with each other internally. With Hubpost we can tag each other in notes and assign tasks. This means that all of our conversations happen in one place, and we have an easy to find record of internal discussions.

Integration with other tools we use

We wanted to be able to integrate our CRM with other tools we use. For example Hubspot integrates nicely with Stripe (the online payment processing tool we use). We can easily create quotes for our customers within Hubspot, and they can pay directly from a link in the quote. This saves both us and our customers time. It also integrates with other tools we use such as Zendesk, meaning that we can keep a better track of support requests for our customers.

Having everything under one roof

Before we started using Hubspot, we were using separate tools for sending sales emails, automating renewal reminders, creating quotes and for our live website chat. Now we can do all of these things from one place. This makes it easier to find everything, and we only need to learn to use one tool instead of four.

Integrated lead capture forms

With Hubspot it was very easy to make lead capture forms that we can put on our website. We could just copy and paste the generated code onto our contact page. Now potential customers just have to fill out the form and we can easily see all the information they have given us inside Hubspot.

Hubspot comes with lots of optional add-ons and extras that we haven’t started using yet, so we are excited to see what else we will be able to do with this CRM. Are you using Hubspot? What do you think?

IDRsolutions develop a Java PDF Viewer and SDK, an Adobe forms to HTML5 forms converter, a PDF to HTML5 converter and a Java ImageIO replacement. On the blog our team post anything interesting they learn about.
