For over two years now we have been releasing PDF to HTML5/SVG updates every Friday, but now we feel it’s time for a change. We have lots of new features planned for the second half of 2014 (and actually our speed of development is likely to increase), but we feel that weekly releases make it difficult for our customers to keep up with and follow new features and changes.
We will continue to provide a daily build for our customers to test upcoming changes and continue to update the web service weekly, but from July onwards we will have one Java release per month. Our main aim is to make our updates easier to follow, so we will also be creating clearer release notes by categorizing the changes as new features, bug fixes and changes. In addition to clearer release notes, where relevant we will also create a monthly update video so that we can show you what we have been working on and what’s new in the release.
We hope that you will find this change useful, and we look forward to showing you what we have planned for the future!
